Since joining the industry at 18, I have developed a proactive and adaptable approach, excelling in dynamic environments while maintaining a strong focus on safety, teamwork and efficiency. As a former National Level Springboard diver, I bring the discipline, resilience and work ethic required to achieve high performance. Experience
Chief Officer
Temporary position as Chief Officer, I was recommended and put forward for the position. General maintenance, light cruising, short dry dock period, docking, responsible for 4 deck crew. Planned and delegated work lists, chart corrections, maintenance work, safety checks, general deck work, bridge watches, setting up and leading drills and maintaining LSA & FFE equipment.
2nd Officer
Permanent position as 2nd officer. Dual season private vessel. Held many navigational watches. Classic yacht, not an average 'white' boat. We did a lot of maintenance work ourselves. I was responsible for all of the FFE & LSA equipment, surveys, contractors and planning for the work days. Responsible for 5 deck crew. I was working very closely with the Chief Officer and learning as much as I could. Major shipyard period with a lot of work happening onboard. Busy season with guests on full time and cruising around the med. Lots of watersports and tender operations.
Bosun/Dive
Permanent position on a busy private vessel as bosun doing diving operations. I was responsible for 2x 15m chase boats with their crew members with a total of 6 deck crew to manage. Med cruising with a lot of anchoring, mooring and stern to rocks operations. Big watersports program with a variety of toys including jetskis, E-foils, wakeboarding and scuba diving. Experience driving a 15m Targa chase boat, a Barbaros 15m chase boat and a 7m RIB. There were also 2 dogs onboard that I looked after the majority of the time. I was holding bridge watches and doing general bridge work.
