My background includes working on heavy charter liveaboards, where I honed my skills in managing multiple tasks under pressure and responding effectively to emergencies. What I lack in creativity for writing these I promise I make up for in my actual work!

To secure a mate or deck position on a yacht where I can utilize the skills I have while continuing to grow and learn from the amazing people I will get to work with. My long term goal is to make it into the Bridge!

Experience
Mate
Operation, towing and maintenance of the 29ft jet drive tender. Planning and executing alternative activities cohesive with the main vessel's schedule and fulfilling guest requests. Managing team of 4 or 5 deckhands/dive instructors and their daily schedules. Training new crew members for all daily responsibilities and familiarity with the vessel.
Deckhand
Lead position managing a team of 3 or 4 for general work safety, establishing watches, providing guest entertainment, and dive guide management. Heavy line work including anchoring, docking, mooring and splicing. Providing dive briefings, guiding dives, teaching courses, assisting passengers in and out of the water.
Stew/Cook
Cooking 3 meals a day for the owners and any guests with options for different dietary requirements. Provisioning and all interior cleaning and detailing.
