I am currently seeking a role as a Deckhand onboard a sailing yacht. I bring a background of watersports instructing, hospitality and nannying experience, paired with an outgoing personality and strong work ethic. I have successfully obtained my Yachtmaster Offshore and am excited to transfer my skills onboard as part of your crew.

Career Objective
To secure my first role by the 2025 Med season and begin working towards the sea time for EDH, while continuing with my Foundation Degree.
Hobbies & Interests
I have been sailing since age 4 and enjoy racing and maintaining yachts. I am also a qualified Dinghy Instructor and Race Coach.
Experience
Delivery crew/ yard deckhand
delivered and worked as a temp deckhand on a 37m royal huisman sailing yacht from the Azores to Holland and assisted starting there refit in Huisfit for a month. This included wash downs, unpacking the boat, protecting items and assisting the lift of the vessel.
Bosun/ stew
I’ve worked onboard an ex lifeboat Gemini Explorer for 6 weeks. Doing charters around the Hebrides in Scotland based out of Oban. Onboard I was a sole deckhand in a crew of 3, also helping out with service. My job role included anchoring with a windless with a more workboat style anchor.
