I am 49 years old, merried and have 8 year old twins. For the past 17 years, I have been responsible for the operation of a successful sailing charter ship based in Harlingen as an independent entrepreneur. This experience has provided me with valuable insights both as a skipper and a business owner, but I feel that it is time for a new challenge. Therefore, nine years ago, I decided to further develop my skills in maritime navigation, which has resulted in my certification as a Master of all sailing ships and Master of all ships under 3000 GT. Currently, I hold the position of captain on the sailing vessel Eendracht (59 meters S/V).
