Assisting the Captain with daily operations and maintenance on the 42-54ft Charter Fishing and Diving Tenders.

Babas is a busy dual-season, private/ charter vessel with short turnarounds between trips. I joined as a Deckhand in a team of 3. Completed 4 successful charters. My duties included: General deck maintenance including washdowns, polishing, painting, teak care, and fairing. Crane operations for lifting/retrieving tenders & Jet Skis. Anchoring procedures. Setting up swim platform for guest watersports and managing (Seabobs, E-Foils, jet skis). Beach BBQ setups and take downs. Driving the Williams Jet Tender. Bridge look-out duties whilst underway. Assisted with monthly LSA & FFE checks.

Hayama is a busy private dual-season vessel operating on a Mediterranean and Egypt itinerary. She runs with a crew of 20. I progressed from junior deckhand to bosun within a year and managed a deck team of 4. My duties included: Oversaw anchoring, mooring, daily operations, and maintenance schedules. Led diving excursions for guests and crew training, facilitating PADI certifications. Managed hull repairs, rust removal, gel coat and fairing applications. Splicing, whipping, and ensuring overall deck upkeep. Conducting underwater maintenance and repairs through diving.
