Growing up on my grandad's motor and launch boats in the Coromandel, NZ sparked my love for the water. I have earned my Advanced Scuba Diving Certificate and developed a keen interest in crayfish hunting. I am eager to expand my skills, gain skipper qualifications, and further immerse myself in sailing. My experience includes extensive travel across New Zealand and to Hong Kong, caring for racehorses, as well as competing in 371 race-day rides, achieving 42 wins, and earning two awards: Most Promising First-Year Apprentice and Most Outstanding Female Apprentice. My career has instilled in me a strong work ethic, resilience, and the ability to thrive under pressure in high-performance environments.

I am looking for a position on a motor or sailing yacht where I can combine my passion for the ocean with my strong work ethic and dedication to learning. I want to bring my discipline, adaptability, and enthusiasm for the outdoors to a professional yachting career, contributing to an established superyacht crew while continuing to develop my maritime skills.

Experience
Deck/Stew
Worked as Deck/Stew aboard S/Y Tawera. Equipped/Serviced yacht in Turkey on the dry and in the water for preparation to pick up owners. Sailed to Greece to compete in Cyclades Regatta to defend title from previous years win. Cruised around Greek Islands with owners and guests before returning to Turkey to prepare for dry docking.
Sailing Course Participant
3 weeks Sailing Course with The SailWeek in Split Croatia. Learnt how to Skipper 40ft Sailing Yachts, including Anchoring, Docking, Rafting up and Guest safety/hospitality.
Apprentice Jockey
CurrentWorking full-time as a trackwork rider along with riding raceday 1-4 times a week. Continuously improving my riding techniques, fitness/strength and communication with trainers and media.
