Project Designer/Engineer + Commissioning Engineer & Captain
Responsible for deck layouts, sail handling systems, cabin interior, schematics & engine room, anchoring and safety systems, vessel manual. Lead sea-trials and crew familiarisation/training. Assisting owner and full-time crew up to Tonga. Over 5,000 Nm covered around New Zealand and in the South Pacific.
Project Engineer + Commissioning Engineer & Captain
Responsible for designing and managing the build of engineering systems. Personally installed the hydraulic systems, and the vessel manual. Commissioning Captain, then on various expeditions: Sub-Antarctic Auckland Islands, completing a circumnavigation of NZ and up to Tonga & Fiji. Over 10,000 Nm covered in the South Pacific and Southern Ocean.
Engineer
• Annapolis down to Savannah for yard work at Palmer Johnson, on to Fort Lauderdale. • Installation of 2 Seaway primary winches and a third 35-kVA alternator. • On down to Antigua for the Caribbean charter season. Rocka!
