I am a certified STCW Code Chief Engineer III/2 Unlimited with over six years of dedicated service as a motor yacht engineer in the yachting industry. I have worked as Chief Engineer (Sole) on a 160 Ft motor yacht for almost five years & as a First Engineer on a 387 foot motor yacht for a year & a half. I also have worked in the commercial shipping in November 2003 up to September 2018. I worked on LPG carriers with propulsion power of more than 3000 Kilowatts from 2003 up to 2008 with ranks held from Engineering Cadet up to Second Engineer. I joined the offshore industry and worked on a seismic vessel & platform supply vessel, also vessels with propulsion power of above 3000 Kilowatts. I started in April 2008 up to September 2018 from ranks Second Engineer up to the Chief Engineer position. I am aiming to stay working in the yachting industry for a long time, probably until retirement eventually. I am currently on my search for my third motor yacht. I am seeking for a Chief Engineer's role on a 55M & up. I think what sets me apart from others is my determination to win. I do not stop when I get tired, I only stop when I get the result that I am working so hard to achieve.

Experience
First Engineer
I joined the vessel in July 2023, a month away of getting delivered to her owner after the build. I was hired as a First Engineer on the boat. After her delivery, the boat cruised in the Med, Mexico, Alaska, Canada & Hawaii so far. I was in charge of the safe & efficient daily implementation and accomplishment of the planned maintenance system (PMS, IDEA), the unplanned maintenance of the boat's various machineries up to the satisfaction of the Chief Engineer. I also partake on the regular safety drills such as Fire, Abandonship, Man Overboard and etc. I attend safety management meetings as required, review & update Engineering Department's Risk Assessments, Safe Job Analysis and many more in Dohle. I assist the Chief Engineer in managing the flow of work projects & getting them done safely as planned during repair periods, especially during periods when the tasks are overlapping. I give advice & help mentor my junior engineers on tasks that I have knowledge on.
