2nd Engineer
Responsible for the watch in the Engine Control Room and equipment around the boat, assisting the CE with the maintenance of all equipment on board and on charge for the night shift during charters, monitoring the auxiliary equipment. Responsible for bunkering, transferring fuel, water and other fluids safely and efficiently. Completed a season in the Caribbean, an Atlantic crossing under demanding conditions. Another season in the Mediterranean. Supporting the Chief Engineer in several projects during shipyard period.
2nd Engineer
CurrentManagement the load distribution (PMS) and running efficiently the maintenance program (Star IPS). Assists the Chief Engineer in providing technical support with operational discipline, code ISM. Supervises engine room personnel on maintenance and watch in the Engine Control Room. Assist and support in maintenance and troubleshooting on drilling equipment. Identifies opportunities to improve operational procedures and assist with procedure revisions and risk assessments.
3rd Engineer
Performance preventive and corrective maintenance to all systems equipment includes main engines. Responsible for safety of crew, environment, and engine room. Responsible for the operation, constant monitoring and maintenance of the auxiliary equipment; Pumps and piping, Fresh water plants, Purifiers, treatment plans, HVACs systems, etc. Responsible for HP and LP compressors during drilling operations. Fire Brigade Chief during drillings.
