Experience

BUILD DECK OFFICER

Jun 2025 - Sep 2025
M/Y Leviathan

Temporarily employed as a Deck Officer to support the final stages of a prestigious large new build project. Working as part of an extensive and highly experienced bridge team, I contributed to the development of the vessel’s SMS including risk assessments, SOPs, bridge checklists, contingency plans, fire attack plans, and Harbour Acceptance Trials (HATs) during the commissioning phase. This role was temporary due to certification limitations relative to vessel gross tonnage.

CHIEF OFFICER

Jul 2024 - May 2025
M/Y AHS

Various temporary positions for a period of approx. 3 months to cover Chief Officer leave during seasons in the Mediterranean and Dubai, and delivery of the vessel from Dubai to France. AHS has a very demanding program with heavy owner and guest usage. Working alongside the captain assisting with the daily operations of the vessel, my responsibilities included leading the deck team of 6 (total crew of 18), management of SMS & ISPS, serving as safety officer running drills and training, navigation, heavy guest tender operations including Wajer 38’ chase boat, and all immigration, customs, and logistical administration.

CHIEF OFFICER

Current
Jul 2022 - Present
M/Y Kisses

I joined as Relief Chief Officer to complete a demanding summer season with the owners living onboard and was subsequently offered a permanent position. Working closely with the captain, I was responsible for the vessel’s daily operational management, including guest operations, crew management, rotation scheduling, crew recruitment and logistics, navigation, passage planning, bridge management, SMS, LSA/FFE maintenance, garbage management, GMDSS operations, safety training and drills, annual surveys, audits, and monthly budgeting and accounting. The vessel was heavily used for 8 months of the year, with the remaining months focused on intensive yard and maintenance periods under my management.
