I'm a Hands on CHIEF ENGINEER SVE 3000gt / 9000kw Unlimited ( Y1 ) with over 24 years experience in yachting as Chief, Looking for a well run program and a competitive salary package with a Long term commitment of 5 plus years in mind. I’m Experienced in Large Refits, SMS, PMS, IDEA, ISM, Flag/Class Rules, CAT, MTU, Control systems, PLC, Hydraulics, Electrical, AVIT systems, Diesel Electric systems. HVAC Systems etc. I like a clean, well maintained Engineroom and have an attitude of ,You name it, I can fix it ! I'm a very hands on type person and enjoy teaching young Engineers the art of Engineering in a safe manner. I have no dietary requirements, non smoker & super fit. ( Ironman, Triathlon races) 40 + years of Competitive Sailing, 1/2 Marathons & love water sports & cycling. I have a calm, easy going professional manner towards building a great crew environment onboard. Hobbies & Interests
I enjoy sailing, snowboarding, golf, and various watersports. I am also a PADI open water diver and participate in Ironman and triathlon racing. I focus on keeping fit and eating healthy, often working out with fellow crew members.
