Ordinary Seaman /Deckhand
As an Ordinary Seaman (OS), I function as a vital, entry-level deck rating in the Deck Department, reporting to the Boatswain (Bosun) or Chief Officer. I act as a "jack of all trades," providing manual labor, hands-on support, and maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. My primary role is to learn the fundamentals of seamanship while assisting in deck operations, safety procedures, and cleaning. mooring operations, and passenger support and also i get a good evaluation for promotion from our Supervisor.
