I am a highly motivated and hardworking Officer of the Watch Unlimited II/1 with a strong background in the maritime industry. My background combines training as a deck officer and a season on a chartered yacht out of Southampton. I dingy sail and volunteer with the GBR Blind Sailing Team. This progression reflects both my dedication and long-term commitment to a professional career at sea. I also bring four years of hospitality experience which has strengthened my interpersonal skills and ability to deliver a high standard of guest service.

Career Objective
My ambition is to build a long term career in the yachting industry. Steadily working my way up the deck department to eventually take on senior officer responsibilities. I am eager to join a yacht where I can contribute to a professional, close-knit crew whilst growing my skills within the industry.

Hobbies & Interests
I enjoy a lot of water sports including sailing, diving, paddle boarding and surfing. Besides that I enjoy going to the gym, hiking and running.
Experience
Deckhand/Stewardess
Maintained cleanliness of the vessel with scrubbing, polishing duties exterior and interior. Performed practical seamanship, routine wash downs and operating mooring/anchoring equipment in alignment with safety protocols. At sea ensured all guests were diligently cared for whilst conserving a safe environment.
Deck Cadet
Bridge watches, experience creating passage plans, assisting senior officers with legal ship documentation including logbook entries, permits, and deck weekly/monthly checks. Completed multiple watches in the Engine Control Room shadowing Engineering Officers to develop knowledge in technical fields to support understanding of ship handling. Took control of pre-departure/arrival checks.
Deck Cadet
Navigational watches completed onboard gaining experience in Dynamic Positioning on Kongsberg Maritime Systems and maintenance of scientific equipment. Performed deck maintenance duties in wet dock, such as drilling, sanding and painting, additionally testing LSA and FFE. Assisted the third officer with safety briefings and required drills with scientists and remaining crew onboard.
