Experience
Chief Engineer
Responsible for all engineering operations, AV/IT faults, maintenance of the engine room and all systems onboard. Oversaw the vessel being taken out of the water for a shipyard period, gained experience delegating major jobs, managing finances of contracted work and marine surveys.
4th Engineer
Worked as part of a team of engineers, maintaining the vessel to the highest standard. Responsibilities included engine room watch keeping, PMS experience, maintaining deck machinery and tenders, following Chief Engineers standing orders, and keeping the engine room in excellent condition.
Marine Engineer Officer Trainee
Gained operational experience in the operation and watch-keeping of engine room machinery while studying a HNC in Marine Engineering. Recommended for promotion upon completion of sea time.
