About
I am a strong, hardworking and dedicated engineer who will stop at almost nothing to find a solution to any problem I may face on board. I take pride in the upkeep of all areas of any vessel I am employed on. I constantly try to add to my skill set and knowledge by doing research, buying engineering reading material, watching engineering documentaries, doing skilled courses etc. I am very good with guests and often assist my deck, galley and service departments to ensure that our guests have an unforgettable experience on board. I am certain I will be a valuable part of any program I am given the opportunity to be a part of.

Experience
Chief Engineer
Chief Engineer. Diagnostic and repair scenario: I did a 4 months owners trip in remote fishing areas of Central and South America where I had to come up with solutions for multiple new boat problems, I then did ship yard periods in Fort Lauderdale and Italy where various warranty repairs, dry docking, and surveys were completed.
Chief Engineer
Temporary chief engineer. Diagnostic and repair scenario: I did an owners trip the day after I joined with only a half day handover, then immediately after the end of that owners trip I did a 5 day voyage, then immediately after the end of that voyage we did a dry docking period, and two day before the boat was launched we had the owner move onboard and it then became an owner live aboard job while we had multiple big jobs happening which caused me to be a lot more proficient in time management, and worked very long hours to get jobs completed. I re-built several leaking pumps, disassembled the entire sea water system and scrubbed it to removed all the barnacles and growth that had built up because of the lack of an antifouling system on board which caused lots of failures to the engines, generators, hydraulics, air conditioning system and other systems serviced by our sea water system.
Second Engineer
I was a rotational Second Engineer. While onboard I was involved in 3 drydocking periods, flag and classification surveys. Diagnostics and repair scenario: we changed the entire air conditioning system, the entire media and audiovisual system, changed major components of the fresh water system, extensive electrical work on the main engines and generators, changed out multiple navigational lights to modern types, I also changed out most of the equipment on the hot tub and its related systems, as well as rebuilt the toilet vacuum pumps, and several other pumps onboard which were either leaking of underperforming when we took over the boat.
