I have worked for over two years as the Sole Stewardess and Deckhand on a 75 foot charter yacht based Washington State. The yacht can entertain up to 8 guests and has 3 crew members. My duties as Sole Stewardess include keeping four staterooms with ensuites and common areas clean, laundry, turn down service, meal service, designing tablescapes for each meal, mixing cocktails and beverage service, and assisting in the galley. I also help with provisioning, trip planning, and concierge service. With almost 20 years of guest service experience in a variety of settings, I can effortlessly interact with all guests, anticipating their needs and creating memorable experiences for everyone. As a deckhand I assist with docking, anchoring, lines, cleaning the exterior, prepping equipment like kayaks and paddle boards for guest use as well as launching and operating the 16 foot tender. I also work with the captain doing maintenance checks, watchkeeping, taking the helm if needed and am involved in our US Coast Guard inspections and winter haul out as well as help with boat projects while in the shipyard. I am organized, hardworking, adaptable, and have a keen eye for detail. I can work well with a team and independently and have a positive, fun and easy-going attitude. With a passion for working on the water and providing excellent guest service, I look forward to furthering my yacht crew career!

Career Objective
I am currently seeking permanent, temporary or seasonal position as a Sole Stewardess, Stewardess/Deckhand or Stewardess, preferably in the US, Bahamas or Caribbean. Ideally I would love a permanent program I can grow with.
Hobbies & Interests
I love the outdoors, you'll find me frequently camping, hiking and boating (I have a 19' aluminum fishing boat and a 35' sailboat). I love to bake and cook and am an avid flower and vegetable gardener. Woodworking is another hobby of mine, you'll often find me in my shop building furniture and hand carving wood utensils. Event planning is another passion of mine, from weddings, anniversaries, holiday gatherings and dinner parties, I have been involved with executing many celebrations over the last 15+ years.

Sole Stewardess/Chef
As the sole stewardess I took care of all interior responsibilities- housekeeping, service, laundry, detailed cleaning, etc. I also cooked daily for the crew and for guests on a 4 day charter. When docking and undocking I assisted with lines and fenders.
Sole Stewardess/Deckahnd
As the sole stewardess/deckhand I am in charge of all interior and exterior maintenance and cleaning. I prepare the table and assist the chef with each meal service. I take care of all guest needs and arrange on-shore activities. I help with anchoring, docking and lines as well as launching and operating the tender as well as preparing kayaks and paddle boards for guest use.
