I come from a rich ocean background growing up in a sailing community in South Africa. I have naturally progressed into a full-time career as an engineer with a broad knowledge of all systems and mechanics over the years. I have confidently approached numerous engineering roles on well-run superyachts. This last year I have been freelancing focusing on building sea time after years of being full time employed and gaining valuable experience. I am now in the process of completing the SV EOOW.

Temp Chief Engineer
Joined the Vessel in Madagascar as chief engineer for a passage to Cape Town, South Africa where from then onwards was joined by the Full-time engineer where we shared the responsibilities of the ongoing passage to the Caribbean.
Temp 2nd Engineer
Temp Engineer onboard for a Delivery from Durban to Brazil via Cape Town. Shared the responsibilities onboard with the Chief Engineer for the South Atlantic Passage and Maintenance projects in between. Full ER watch responsibilities while at Sea.
Temp Sole Engineer
Temp Engineer in Abu Dhabi covering leave. Guest trips around the UAE and general upkeep and maintenance.
