Roles & Responsibilities Engine Room Management: Acted as primary deputy to the Chief Engineer, managing day-to-day operations and safety protocols during a heavy shipyard maintenance period. Shipyard & Project Oversight: Supervised specialized contractors during critical machinery overhauls, ensuring all works adhered to Lloyd' s Register class requirements. System Commissioning: Troubleshoot and commissioned complex onboard systems post-works, including CAT C32 Acert main engines, 150 kW generators, and the ASEA shore power frequency converter. Data & Inventory Control: Built and optimized the vessel’s digital PMS, logging all shipyard modifications and establishing a precise spare parts inventory to ensure a "turnkey " presentation for sales viewings. Hotel Systems Mastery: Maintained total accountability for the continuous operation of auxiliary systems, including Finservice HVAC, Idromar watermakers, and Hamann sewage treatment

Assist in removal, overhaul and reinstallation of Tender Inboard Diesel Engine. Partake in Risk Assessments. Responsibility of tenders and toys. Daily Engine Room Rounds & log keeping. Engine room watch keeping. Servicing of Pumps and motors. Assist in mooring procedures. Primary Standby fire team for emergency scenario whilst assist in successful ABS 5 year survey.
