About

I have four years of experience in the yachting industry. I started my career day working on several different boats and then got my first permanent job as a deckhand on a 45m private yacht, was promoted to Deck Engineer and have gained a lot of experience in both departments. I am passionate about this industry and love that it allows me to be adventurous and partake in exciting and new activities with the guests and crew. Whether kayaking, fishing, smashing golf balls on the course or driving the boat (the best part of the job!) I am a hard-working individual and approach my tasks with enthusiasm and an eagerness to do things well while maintaining a positive attitude on board. I love that the industry provides me the opportunity to keep learning and to share with others the things I learn along the way. I am eager to take the skills I have learnt and qualifications I have acquired to my next boat, as I continue working towards obtaining my OOW.
