I grew up in Curaçao, surrounded by the sea and boats from a young age. I have always been passionate about the water and have built my experience around practical boating and yachting work. I started working in the industry at 16 on commercial day charter catamarans (60–80ft), gaining hands-on experience in deck operations, guest service, and vessel handling. After obtaining my certifications at 18, I continued training under experienced captains, further developing my seamanship skills, including maneuvering and operational support in a busy charter setting. More recently, I have worked aboard the 73-meter motor yacht Starfire, completing two successful charters and gaining valuable experience in a professional superyacht environment. I would describe myself as a positive, motivated and hardworking team player who adapts quickly and works well within a team. I take responsibility seriously and bring a strong work ethic onboard. I am known for being approachable, reliable, and consistent in maintaining a positive atmosphere onboard. I am now looking to continue growing within the yachting industry and further develop my skills in deck operations and seamanship.

I am seeking a position as a deckhand on a private/charter yacht of +60m/200ft.
Hobbies & Interests
I enjoy staying active in my free time, especially through sports and outdoor activities. I like watersports such as windsurfing, wakeboarding and diving, and I enjoy playing beach tennis. Generally, anything that keeps me moving. I also have a background in kickboxing, which I still practice occasionally.
Experience
Temporary Deckhand/relief stewardess
Performed deck operations: washdowns, line handling, fendering, docking assistance, anchoring, boat setup, and beach setups. Performed night shifts during the charter period, ensuring the vessel’s safety and maintenance. Assisted interior team during final charter performing housekeeping duties.
Permanent Deckhand
Oversaw guest services, including food and beverage, safety briefings, and onboard comfort. Managed line handling, docking, and fendering during arrivals and departures. Supported captains with navigation, maneuvering, and vessel operations during Boatmaster training.
Relief Deckhand
Provided guest service on day charters: ensured comfort, safety, and overall guest satisfaction.
