2nd Engineer
As the second engineer I was in charge of maintaining and repairing onboard machinery, equipment and electrical systems. My responsibilities included coordinating engine room manpower, supervise maintenance teams (including dry dock period), train junior crew per the SMS, standing engineering watches, ensuring safety and environmental standards, manage engine room safety equipment maintain records of repairs and oversee efficient use of supplies.
Second Engineer
CurrentSupported the Chief Engineer in maintaining engine room safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities included assisting with the upkeep of safety equipment and systems, conducting routine checks on machinery, and monitoring equipment functionality.
Sole Engineer
