After working within the yachting industry for a fully-booked charter yacht and a fully private boat, I have learnt how to think on my toes, creative problem solve and work in an extremely fast paced environment. My key attributes in maintaining a successful season would be my ability to work extremely well for guests and with crew by promoting a positive, bubbly and energetic attitude followed by a need to finish and follow up all my duties the best to my ability. With the experience of being on a fully charter boat and following, a predominantly private yacht, I have learnt the best of both worlds in the sense that I can work in a high energy & quick-moving environment for temporary guests as well as manage private owners’ very specific preferences and needs.

Minor Family Affair is 90% charter (with back-to-back charters) and 10% private. Working with an interior team of 7, my duties on board this vessel aim in assisting in preparing the motor yacht for a busy season during the end of their shipyard period. Although my contract was scheduled for one month, I made the decision to leave Horizon III due to the finding of a permanent position.
