About
Having started life with a competitive sporting background, I have learnt the value of working as a team and understand the responsibility of the my individual discipline within that team. I have moved into a beautiful career in education and drew great joy from gaining knowledge, developing skills and working with diverse personalities. My enjoyment of the open seas, lead to the completion of my NAUI Dive Instructors. Where I spent a few seasons working for a local dive centre as an Instructor and later as one of the skippers. The combination of these skills lead to my first job onboard a privately owned vessel, where the love of learning lead me into the engine room and by the end of the season into a leadership role within the small team. Moving between departments as the team needed to create a successful experience. I take great joy in doing a job well and finding ways to improve upon my own skills and to make the situation more enjoyable for all involved. Sometimes this means pushing through long hours or uncomfortable situations to sole the problem at hand.
