My name is Megan Pieterse, I am an extremely hard working and fast learning individual. I enjoy living an active and healthy lifestyle, I enjoy being outside and doing adventurous activities, I take on leadership roles easily and I am extremely adaptable and flexible. I have a seasons experience as shown on my CV and my partner is entering the yachting industry as a deckhand this year, we are both ambitious and hard workers and we work well together, we hope to get a job on a boat together this season but we are happy to help in any opportunities that come our way

Career Objective
I like to consider myself as quite an independent person, my goals are to work hard, make new connections with people, travel, make money and my goal in the yachting industry is to work up to chief stewardess, I started the industry as second stewardess, working closely with the chief stewardess and I often took on leadership roles, I thrive in Leadership positionS and believe I can become chiefstew one day with a lot of hard work and determination. My partner and I are joining the yachting industry together and our goal in the industry is to both work up to leadership positions as we both thrive in those roles and lead the interior and exterior of the boat into great success, we are both extremely hard working and ambitious individulas and work well together under pressure. I am also really interested in becoming a dive instructor in the future and pursuing my deckhand qualifications in the futrue as well, I am extremely handy and have a good eye for detail.

I love leading an active lifestyle, I enjoy swimming, running and going and occasionally do yoga and pilates, I am extremely creative and artistic, I design tattoos and pain artworks and murals for people, I have an eye for design which helps my creativity on the boat for table setting. I enjoy tranquil activities such as reading and writing. I am very social and I enjoy meeting new people and obtaining meaningful relationships, I am extremely family orientated.
Experience
Chief Stewardess/ junior deckhand
My role on this boat was to maintain and uphold the interior of the boat while the boat was in the shipyard, I also did basic wood work for the interior, I also assisted with small jobs on the exterior such as rigging and tpc
Second stewardess
As Second stewardess I worked closely with the chief stewardess in painting and upholding the quality of the interior guest areas. Breakfast, lunch and dinner services, table setting, guest satisfaction and housekeeping. The chief stew lived in the area of the boats main dock often went home, leaving me to take the lead in a lot of services with the guests. This boat also had a small follower boat which I assisted the bosun in mooring and docking and handling of lines
