Bosun
Joined this new build yacht in the Heesen shipyard in the Netherlands where we stocked the yacht from nothing, built the wash lockers, lazarette, tender garage and forepeak. Prepared the yacht for its first passage to Malta for registry, followed by a busy season with liveaboard owners. My main duties as a Bosun include leading the deck team into maintaining standards of cleanliness, organize tender runs and launching of water toys daily.

Joined the project in the shipyard, 2 months before delivery for the final stages of the build. As a bosun I built and organized the forepeak and all wash lockers and assisted with the installation of the exterior furniture. Together with my team of 3 deckhands, we prepared the yacht for its maiden voyage from the Netherlands to Spain.

Led a team of 3 deckhands while managing worklists, inventories and planning the day-to-day works on deck. A very hands-on yacht where I did several painting, varnishing and Sika projects.
