I enjoy participating in various sports such as padel, hiking, golf, watersports, and skiing. I am a passionate scuba diver and have participated in the Henley Regatta race, rowing for my local club. I also enjoy teaching myself guitar and frequently sewing and knitting my own clothes, skills I developed through my A-Level in Textiles.
Experience
2nd Stewardess/ Relief Chief Stew
Joining as 2nd stew in a team of three my duties were service for all guests including Russian style, silver service, cocktail making, and table setting. Housekeeping and laundry were also important roles in providing high quality care for guest garments, bed linen and personals. Along with keeping on top of crew mess duties and provisioning for both guest and crew. After 6 months I went on to become chief stew, this consisted of leading a team, all inventories, accounting, preparing and touring guests for boat shows, work lists for both guest on and winter yard period, training new crew members and being a positive and strong leading figure.
2nd Stewardess
Permanent position as 2nd stewardess working in a team of three and solo stew for a three-week Atlantic crossing. My responsibilities onboard include, laundry, crew mess, detailing guest and crew areas, provisioning, wine and uniform inventories, bridge watches, chart plotting, as well as docking procedures including lines and fenders. During guest trips my duties include service, table setting, along with putting together creative table decorations to match meals and themes, turn up and turn down, bar service, laundry, maintaining guest areas, excursions with the guests and tender operations. During our guest-off periods it is also my responsibility to help the exterior team, when needed, these duties include, polishing stainless and full wash downs.
