Sole Engineer
All engineering & maintenance duties onboard, along with passage watch and chase boat towing operations. Hourly based maintenance on all auxiliary systems, servicing of generators & main engines - MTU 16v 2000 series, 3878KW combined. Dual 70KW Kohler gensets. Hamann HL - 0125 black water plant overhaul, Dometic water maker & Spotzero water filtration upgrades. Hydraulic repairs. Shipyard maintenance along with overseeing remaining warranty jobs. Boss trips to the Bahamas, Carribean and local passages in American waters.
Sole Engineer & 1st Officer
Private yacht, crew of 6. All engineering responsibilities for the duration of the season, completed overdue winter works & started a hourly based maintenance schedule. New engine room log and preventative maintenance. Monthly & weekly ISM checks for deck & engineering departments. Main engines, CAT C32 acert, 2834KW combined & dual 55KW Northern-Lights generator servicing, Hamann HLCP 025 plant, hydraulics, electrics, Duplex water-makers, AlvaLaval centrifuge and auxiliary equipment. New bridge alarm monitoring hardware upgrades along with Starlink installation, 3D print flush-mount and wifi integration. Main tender duties, Whitmarsh RS11, V8 Yanmar sterndrive & Rupert R6 tender. Bridge OOW, engineering watch & anchor watch duties.
Mate & Assistant Engineer
Private & Charter yacht, crew of six. All exterior maintenance, OOW, tenders & water-sports and seasonal shipyard periods. Change of vessel to commercial registration. Complete overhaul of the ISM and a successful 2020 charter season. Flag & Sale surveys, vessel sold - June 2021.
