CurrentMy responsibilities included: Creative table setups and cocktail making, remaining attentive to guests' needs to ensure excellent service, provisioning and organising inventory with precision, working synergistically in a team to complete a speedy turnaround, housekeeping duties with attention to detail and discretion, cooking meals for guests and crew, responsible for line work and fender duties during docking procedures, occasional tender driving, covering/uncovering seating areas on deck, and placing bridge awning covers when needed, safe guarding of the vessel during my watch duties, fully winterising the interior when the season is over. I stepped up to the Chief Stewardess Role in my last season. I had another stew working with me for the last few months of charter last year and thoroughly enjoyed taking on the leadership role to ensure that everything ran seamlessly onboard.
Deck/Stew
Line handling, knots, entry-level sailing, washdowns, stainless steel polishing, occasional anchor watch, maintained cleanliness and tidiness of bathrooms and galley, conducted regular cleaning, sanitation and restocking of supplies, welcoming onboard, serving plated food and canapés, and bartending.
2nd Stewardess
Full interior cleaning to high standards, assisting with food preparation, assisting with guest service, preparation of the vessel for charter.
