CurrentAssume the role of Safety Officer on board. Manage bridge operation, including safe navigation and watchkeeping duties. Assisted in maintaining ISM/ISPS compliance and ensuring the vessel adheres to all safety protocols. Conducted regular safety drills and environmental inspections.
Chief Officer
Joined the vessel in Dubai, UAE and delivered it to La Spezia, Italy. Assumed the role of relief Captain for over a month during a Shipyard period, supervising the resolution of some guarantee claims at San Lorenzo shipyard. Overseeing navigational watch duties, mooring operations, conducting safety drills, and maintaining and testing life-saving appliances, firefighting equipment, and navigational instruments. Ensuring compliance with ISM/SMS, ISPS, MARPOL, MLC, and other relevant shipping regulations.
Chief Officer
In charge of bridge watches while underway and for maintaining logbook daily. Supervised all LSA & FFE checks. Responsible for finding out best anchorages and beach set up spots around Exumas and Caribbean islands. Managed the accounting of all departments on board. Completed 7 months shipyard period in Cartagena, Colombia and 5 months in Ft Lauderdale, Florida.
