CurrentCaptain | M/Y Emocean | 38m | Charter April 2023 – Present | Bahamas, Caribbean, West Palm, St. Maarten, Med Relief Captain on a busy dual-season charter yacht. Led a transatlantic crossing from the Bahamas to France, prepared the vessel for commercial registration and flag surveys, and managed Monaco GP charter and shipyard period in Italy. Completed 8 charters and a 2-month owner’s trip during the Med season. Oversaw navigation, compliance, safety, crew training, and guest service. Liaised with brokers and onshore teams to ensure smooth operations and high guest satisfaction.
Chief Officer/Relief Captain
Responsible for navigation, watch keeping, bridge equipment and updating charts and ECDIS, passage planning, and GMDSS. In charge of training, safety familiarizations and drills. Oversaw inspection and maintenance of LSA and FFE, maintenance of deck equipment and teak deck, and all planned maintenance.
