About
Hey there! My name is Payton and I’m someone who works really well with others and loves being part of a team. I spent 13 years in competitive cheerleading, including three amazing years in Toronto with the Great White Sharks—one of the top teams in the world. Working towards winning the Worlds in 2022, which was always the goal! When I got Back to New Zealand I jumped into a role as a flight attendant with Air New Zealand on the Q300 aircraft. It was sole charge and I looked after 50 passengers, making sure everything ran smoothly and safely. The training was extensive and I loved the challenge. Now I’m ready for my next adventure—I am keen to learn, get stuck in, and be part of a hardworking team.

Experience
Flight attendant
Sole charge flight attendant on a Q300 aircraft, a month of intense training to prepare to be out on line, working closely with pilots, who had to trust that I kept the cabin safe. Boarding and disembarking 50 passengers while remaining in a heightened state of awareness for any dangers or threats, serving a selection of drinks and snacks and any other passenger needs. Cleaning the cabin after each flight and preparing it for the next flight. Looking presentable in my uniform everyday to uphold the standard Air New Zealand holds.
