Employed as the Captain onboard this refitted prestigious new to the charter market vessel. Joining the yacht at a particularly difficult time required quick and effective decision making relating to both complex operational requirements and crew management. Overseeing all aspects of the vessel’s operation, creating and maintaining a strong relationship with the owner’s office, operational accounting and budgeting, overseeing the transfer of management, shipyard planning, management and welfare of 11 crew and implementing restructuring requirements whilst continuously supporting progression and maintaining the vessel and program to the highest standard. Completed a successful debut charter season and Monaco Yacht Show.

Successfully commanded Amara in various popular areas incl. East Coast USA, East Coast Canada, Panama, Panama Canal Transit, West Coast Mexico, West Coast USA, West Coast Canada. Full shipyard period supervised in Derecktors - Dania Cut. Vessel Budget managed on VOLY through Y.CO Management. Crew Payroll through Oceanskies Crew & Y.CO. Managed all Crew Holidays and flights. Command of all Helicopter operations. Responsible for 38ft Tender towing operations.

Full responsibility of implementation of ISM, ISPS and MLC. Maintenance and continues updating of 'Manage my Vessel'. Crew administration: Visa's, Crew certificates, Crew Transfers, Travel Documents, COVID testing, SDB & CeC Applications, Familiarization, Immigration, HoR etc. Vessel Inbound & Outbound clearances, Port clearances, Health & Waste Declarations, Customs & Immigration. Charter guest Administration: Watersport Waivers, Jet ski Licenses, Drone/CCTV Waivers, Guest transfers, COVID testing, Arrival & Departure Logistics. Run and control Shipyard worklists, Managing Contractors and timeframes. Extensive driving & Mooring experience.
