Career Objective

I am an experienced deckhand with a solid track record working on vessels between 20m to 45m. With a mindset strongly geared towards continuous growth and career progression, I bring hands-on deck experience and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. On my previous vessels I gained exposure in a range of deck responsibilities, including line handling, anchorage, deck maintenance, watch keeping, water sports and the operation of a 9m tender. I hold both AEC1 and AEC2 certifications, reflecting my interest toward the engineering side of yachting and while I maintaining a strong deckhand foundation. I am looking to join a larger vessel where the structure and organised team environment will further support my professional development. I believe this pursuit is essential in aligning with my long-term career goals and refining my capabilities across departments. On a personal note, I am passionate about sports and fitness, with running being a key discipline for me. Last year, I was sponsored by ASICS for my running achievements, and I value the idea of a work environment that promotes movement and healthy living. I believe my hands-on experience, dedication, and bright personality would make me a valuable addition to your crew.
