Served as second stewardess aboard a large-volume, privately owned yacht with a busy program. The vessel catered to an elderly couple and their extended family, requiring a strong focus on exceptional service and attention to detail. My partner (the Chief Officer) and I worked together for my first season onboard CaryAli. My key responsibilities included: Providing high-level guest service and housekeeping ensuring comfort and a seamless onboard experience. Assisted with managing provisions to maintain well-stocked and organised interior supplies. Maintained and detailed the yacht's interior to the highest standards. Assisted with yard period preparations, including deep cleaning and interior detailing. Assisted on deck as needed, supporting the crew in various exterior operations working under the Chief Officer's orders. Maintained the interior whilst acting as lookout during navigation watches during the Atlantic crossing and during guest trips when underway.

During my time working onboard this vessel, I joined as a deck stew for two months and then had to step in as sole stew. I've learnt so much in my deck and stew roles. Duties included service, provisioning, laundry, housekeeping, helping with wash downs, assisting with teak maintenance, fender and line handling and detailing (interior and exterior).

At Dutton's Cove, I honed my teamwork skills while delivering efficient service in a fast-paced setting. I managed a large area, staying on the move and ensuring it remained clean and orderly under pressure.
