I am seeking my first role in yachting, having completed the sale of my family's business, a hotel barge. While I am new to yachting, I have worked in the marine hospitality business for the main part of my life. I have a keen business acumen that I have acquired from being at the coalface of our business. I enjoy the administrative tasks of running a boat as well as the operational aspects. Working towards my OOW3000 is a priority for me as I have already completed a number of modules, as well as having my M200/OOW500 in hand.

I am a member of my local Gaelic Football club and have previously served on the club committee. I sail recreationally with my family, usually in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. I have a keen interest in politics and international current affairs, and I am also developing an interest in drone photography.

Tax Associate
Performed the role of a tax associate as part of my university placement in a tax consultancy firm. Gained insight into the corporate environment and became familiar with Microsoft Office functions. Developed professional communication skills with clients and partners.
Crew
Assumed a senior management position in the organisation, gaining invaluable hospitality knowledge. Developed strong boat handling abilities and acted as Master for mooring and departure operations, transiting locks, low bridges, narrow channels and exposed lakes. Duties included tender driving, safety briefings, yard work, survey preparation, line handling, exterior cleaning, and administrative tasks.
