About

After years of working in IT, I decided to resign after the first lockdown and pursue a career in the marine industry. I completed my STCW and Dayskipper course and began work on a charter yacht in the Bay of Islands in New Zealand. I'm constantly gaining experience and developing my knowledge and skills. My dream is to circumnavigate on a sailing yacht exploring as many countries and cultures along the way.

Career Objective

Seeking a permanent role aboard a professionally run private/charter motor or sailing yacht. I am highly motivated, eager to learn, and gain experience onboard. I enjoy working as part of a team, happy to follow instructions or use my own initiative. Learning through work and auxiliary courses I'm developing my knowledge of engineering and sailing. Eventually I will gain enough experience to progress further up to Officer.
