Engine Cadet
Worked daily with competent and experienced engine officers and engine crew, troubleshooting fault finding and taking part in preventative maintenance. Worked with different departments gaining experience with the electrical side and also refrigeration. Completed rounds of the engine room checking levels and readings are an appropriate level. Participated in maritime safety drills, contributing engineering expertise to emergency response strategies.

Assisted senior engineers in the operation and maintenance of marine propulsion systems, including diesel engines and other associated equipment.
