Spearheaded the implementation of new systems and strategic initiatives resulting in enhanced cost efficiency and improved operational effectiveness for both the engineering team and the vessel as a whole. Directed and meticulously planned comprehensive shipyard periods and audits, consistently elevating standards beyond regulatory requirements. Managed all onboard AV/IT equipment, collaborating closely with shore-based support to guarantee uninterrupted guest service reliability. Orchestrated shipyard periods during critical 5-year and 10-year special surveys, demonstrating expert long-term planning. Mentored junior engineers and led a cross-disciplinary team through complex technical projects.

Performed preventative maintenance to keep equipment functional and to meet running specifications using IDEA. Implemented and helped installing refit projects and upgrades throughout the vessel. Worked on tenders, cranes, jet skis, jet surf, generators, main engines, hydraulic power packs and interior equipment to keep vessel above standard.

Operated and oversaw power management and operated ME and D/Gs. Worked with OFB, incinerator, steam generators, sampling, analysis and records as well. Received training in low & high voltage systems.
