Experience
2nd Engineer
Assisted the Chief Engineer and worked solo for 1 month on different repairs throughout the ship. Works ranged from servicing the generators to a full service and rebuild of the JETS pumps, A/C pumps, intake, and extraction system and Hamann plant. Other various general engineering works were also completed.
Temporary Engineer
Assisted with planned maintenance system (PMS) and carried out defect reporting. Watchkeeping duties, engine room checks and logbook entries. Participated in ISM/ISPS drills and safety routines. Assisted 3rd engineer with HUG filter replacement on all 3 generators.
Deck/Engineer
Delivery of a 20m Sunseaker from Antibes to Portugal as Deckhand/Engineer. This included doing shift work at the helm and hands-on deck work such as stainless polishing, line handling, docking, refueling and wash downs as well as fixing some issues we had with the generator and battery system on board.
