Oversee and manage the medical department onboard as HOD. Maintain the company, Public Health, National and International standards and meet requirements with reporting to the Master. Provide basic and emergency medical treatment for crew members and passengers. Evaluate and treat wide range of medical conditions, from minor injuries to serious emergencies including surgical, gynecological and pediatric illnesses. Handling with ACLS/ATLS emergencies. Internal and external reporting for maritime authorities, provide information and consultancy during audits/inspections. Health screening and implementing infectious protocols. Accident and incident reporting. Crew training in basic first aid and emergency response.

Provided both ambulatory and hospital emergency care for patients with wide variety of disease states and disorders: traumas, fractures, lacerations, wounds, animal and insect bites, allergies, foreign bodies, fever, substance abuse cases etc. Served as a volunteer physician at sport competitions and regattas.

Worked as a member of international team of Eastern Europe with Germany based office, maintain and enhance liaisons with Ministry of Health, Patient Association, other stakeholders. Initiated medical programs for healthcare professionals, assisted in preparing protocols and guidelines for thyroid cancer management.
