About
I am a dedicated Chief Mate with a 3000-ton license, combining my passion for maritime navigation with a commitment to safety and efficiency at sea. Balancing a fulfilling career with family life, I am happily married and proud to be a father of two wonderful children. As a hardworking professional, I strive to excel in my role while ensuring a positive and productive environment aboard. My commitment to my work is matched only by my enthusiasm for video and photography, where I find joy in capturing moments and telling stories through visual art. When I’m not navigating the waters or managing my responsibilities on board, I cherish spending time outdoors with my family. Whether hiking, camping, or exploring nature, I believe that these activities not only strengthen family bonds but also help instill a sense of appreciation for the world around us. In all aspects of my life, I value hard work, creativity, and the joy of making lasting memories with my loved ones.

Experience
Chief Officer
CurrentI joined the vessel during a shipyard refit and served as Chief Mate, working closely with the Captain to ensure smooth operations. My responsibilities included managing paperwork for Flag (Cayman Islands) and Class inspections, conducting safety drills and training, and participating in Safety Committee Meetings, with reports uploaded to the Safety Management System (SMS). I maintained all logbooks—Official,Navigation, Garbage, and GMDSS—and coordinated crew changes and muster lists. Additionally, I oversaw vessel and crew certifications, created detailed crew profiles, and led safety inductions to ensure compliance and safety awareness. I handled deck crew employment, passage planning, and updated critical navigation information in ECDIS and digital publications. With extensive experience in both day and night watchkeeping, I demonstrated proficiency in anchoring, docking, and deck operations, collaborating closely with the Bosun for duty planning and providing hands-on support to ensure safe andefficient vessel operations.
Chief Officer
After I finished one month of the charter as temporary contract C/O on M/Y Starburst 3, I got an offer to move on 55m as C/O. I joined M/Y in Dubai, UAE. My duties onboard as C/O included full ISM and ISPS work as she is over 500GT. Passage planning, watch-keeping and all other bridge duties, FFE, Class, Flag checks and monthly drills, chart and publication updates. All crew logistics and immigration. I spent a lot of my time reviewing the vessels SMS, implementing safer works, and updating SOPs and Risk Assessments. We have also been busy with trips to Oman and Qatar. I am eager to advance my career by continuing as an officer on a larger vessel.
2nd Officer
I joined in the shipyard. I was responsible for setting up the boat. This included finding suppliers and placing orders for the Bridge and Deck Department, which included tools, safety equipment, climbing gear, cleaning supplies, and publications for the bridge. I worked closely with the management team to establish procedures and led ISM and ISPS drills and crew training. I collaborated with the Owner’s representative and provided regular updates while coordinating with the Design Team and Project Manager to select items and improve storage solutions in the guest quarters. I also oversaw subcontractors for exterior construction and helped with the commissioning and acceptance of completed areas. My tasks included provisioning the boat, conducting sea trials, distributing supplies, implementing the deck running system, and managing boat detailing and daily maintenance. I prepared the boat for its first trip with the Owner. After training at the shipyard, I kept records for warranty purposes. I was also responsible for checking lifesaving and firefighting equipment, managing the Pascoe 8m limo tender and 6.25m Beachlander, performing watch duties, handling anchor procedures, and communicating distances during docking.
