Experience
Flotilla Leader& Skipper
Supported guests on tailored flotilla holidays, managing yacht logistics, safety protocols, and route planning. Key responsibilities included: Directing docking and mooring operations, including line handling, fender setup, and securing yachts in a wide range of harbors and marinas. Organizing and managing inventory, ensuring efficient provisioning and smooth operations throughout charter trips. Providing attentive guest service, handling inquiries and requests, and maintaining a positive onboard atmosphere. Gaining valuable shipyard experience by assisting with winter maintenance periods, supporting deck work, basic engineering tasks, and learning hands-on during refit preparations to ensure the yacht was fully ready for the next season.
Skipper/ Sailing Instructor
As a sailing instructor for broadreach, I led 12 -17 day liveaboard sailing and diving expeditions throughout the Caribbean, teaching and managing students in both seamanship and teamwork. Key responsibility’s & Achievements: Skipperd and managed sailing vessels on multi island itineraries departing from St. Maarten.
