If I had to describe myself in one word, I would say AMBITIOUS. I recently completed my Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, so I think it is safe to say that I have a curious mind. I was born and raised in Pretoria, and although it is a lovely city and a wonderful country to live in, I am so eager to explore more of what is beyond South Africa. I have always had a burning desire to see and experience different parts of the world along with different cultures, people, food…you name it! I feel that being a yachtie would be an extremely suitable job for me, whether it be as an engineer or stewardess, seeing as I am someone who simply cannot sit still. I must be busy at all times.

Career Objective
Honestly, my main objective for the past four years was to finish my engineering degree. Now that I have met that objective, I feel as if the world is my oyster. My objectives going forward would be to learn as much as possible from different people with different backgrounds and grow into the best, most independent version of myself (and to make the most incredible memories and friends along the way).

Industrial Engineer / Business Analyst
CurrentDuring my time at Fraser McGill, I work as a business analyst/industrial engineer on a project based in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The project consists of analysing Kamoa Copper Mine's HR department processes as well as various other processes within the company and using my engineering skills to map out the processes and identify constraints/challenges and propose solutions to these challenges.
Bartender
Worked as a temporary bartender at a pop-up bar in the coastal town of Strandfontein, Western Cape.
Student Intern
Worked under an industrial engineer and was tasked with mapping out current process within the company and identifying areas in which automation can be implemented, after which I designed the processes in which automation is introduced.
