As a Captain, I take pride in the management and running of a yacht with all the various responsibilities this involves. I particularly enjoy ship-handling, seamanship, and navigation. I have kept informed of changing legislation and have actively encouraged many of my crew to sit higher exams. I am responsible, conscientious, and honest. I attribute my years of accident-free command to my experience, my attention to detail, and to my genuine pleasure in the work itself.
