As deck/stew on a busy Private yacht I am required to work flexibly and resourcefully to ensure a pleasant experience for the owners and their guests. Communication is prioritised onboard as all duties are shared between myself and another crew member. From line handling, to service and both interior and exterior upkeep, we work cohesively to ensure the vessel was maintained to the highest standard. We operated a consistently busy guest schedule with constant movement between ports and anchorage.

As sole Deck/Stew, I was responsible for delivering exceptional service during busy back-to-back charters, ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining a clean and well-organized vessel. I managed guest requests, performed daily interior cleaning, and operated the deck. I handled my own routine and scheduling, balancing the demands of both service and deck duties. Working closely with the captain, I ensured smooth operations and contributed to a seamless guest experience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. In between charters I was responsible for high levels of maintenance of the vessel.

Providing hospitality, food and exceptional service, bartending, housekeeping; including laundry. During guest service, my strengths are attentiveness, eye to detail and entertainment. I have a strong attention to detail, for example recognising guests needs and routines, offering solutions and delivering a high level of organisation. I work closely with the other stewardess, cleaning cabins and guest areas, preparing meals, provisioning and being available 24/7 for a live on board owner. Taking care of the boat's accounts and working closely with the owner and the management. On the exterior, my main responsibilities are wash downs, polishing, minor repairs and maintenance and docking/anchoring procedures. I also provide guest supervision during water activities, use of water toys and their upkeep including sea bobs, E-foil and the tender. Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and participating in drills.
