CurrentIn this role I assisted the Chief Engineer in maintaining and troubleshooting the yacht's main and auxiliary engines, including the generators, air conditioning, sewage treatment systems, and fuel systems. Supervised day-to-day operations of engine room, conducted repairs and troubleshooting as needed. Assisted with inventory management. Managed regular preventive maintenance schedules and carried out technical inspection to ensure systems were running efficiently.

On MY Orenda I done a dual role with assisting the Chief engineer when needed, performing navigational watches, Assisting with anchoring & mooring operations, tender runs, General maintenance of yacht on deck & engine room.
Deckhand / 2nd Engineer
In this role I acted as a deckhand in season and as a 2nd engineer in the off season. On deck I performed various tasks such as anchoring/mooring operations, navigational watch, night watch, tender driving, water sports, maintaining and keeping the deck in order, etc. My tasks as a 2nd engineer varied from filter changes, sea strainers, Alfa laval servicing, generator services, av/it wiring, etc
