3rd Stew
During my time onboard we were 3 stews. We had a 17 day boss trip with 4 guest onboard, lunch/dinner for 8-14 guest onboard, Beach Set Ups and occasional lunch/dinner service at their house. I had to assist in service (pulling for lunch/dinner, table set up and synchronize service), HK duties with the 2nd stew while being solo responsible for Laundry. Assisting Chief Stew during Lunch/Dinner Service, Beach Set Ups, Laundry, ironing/steaming, folding, Housekeeping, turn up/downs, top to bottom, Back of house duties.
Junior Stew - 2nd Stew
During my time onboard I have been a part of multiple boat shows (with the boss on), boss trips and charters with 10-12 guest. Mostly only being 3 stews in the interior I grew and learned very quickly within the interior. Also being without a permanent 2nd stew for most of my time onboard, I stepped in and filled the gap working very closely with the chief stew. I was promoted to 2nd stew, where I helped trained junior stews and be a right hand to the chief stew. Confident in all general interior duties: Laundry, ironing/steaming, folding, Housekeeping, turn up/downs, top to bottom, back of house duties, Morning breakfast setup and service - buffet/coffee/fresh juice/tea, Assisting the Chief Stew with guest meal setup (plated/family style/canapé), Breakfast, lunch and dinner table decorating/setup, Synchronize service, Welcome drinks, Napkin folding, Flower arrangement, Cabin detailing, wardrobe and luggage management, Crew Uniforms - inventoried, organised and allocated to crew, Compiling weekly worklist for interior department in absence or with chief stew, Other responsibilities included guest giveaways, organising, inventory (alcohol, theme boxes, medical, toiletries, cleaning products), Interior stock take and assisting with provisioning (lists/orders/organising), Assisting with lines and fenders.
Junior Stewardess
Boss trip with 9 guest and a baby - Rotating between Laundry, Solo Housekeeping (turn ups/turn downs), Assisting Chief Stew with dinner service set up (Family Style).
