Hit the ground running taking over command and delivering from Mallorca for an owner’s charter around the Amalfi coast in April, headed directly for the MYBA charter show and prepared for broker viewings, we also hosted for a fantastic brokers lunch and fun filled cocktail event. I enjoyed the challenge of completing maintenance projects on time to prepare the yacht for the upcoming season full of charters in Sardinia, Amalfi, Sicily Aeolian islands and Corsica for the summer charter season. Keeping a sharp look out for my next relief or rotational role after completion of the survey and yacht sale.

I was responsible for managing the refit projects in 2017 completing all planned projects within budget and in readiness for the season ahead cruising Greece, Croatia and Italy. I thoroughly enjoyed planning the seven Med seasons visiting all the countries and islands possible including one Caribbean season from the Bahamas to Guadeloupe and all the islands in-between. Overcoming challenges during shipping and a visit to the UK during covid times it was a lesson in adaptability. Hiring, training and leadership of the crew was rewarded with low crew turnover. I finished the 15-year commercial shipyard surveys in preparation for the yacht sale. Over 30K miles of safe navigation completed.

Very busy charter yacht starting in March with static charters for the Cannes mipin /mapic events with 70 guests for functions / Monaco F1 and booked charters with return clients in Croatia /Italy / France / Caribbean winter in St Lucia and Bequia with charters to Martinique and Grenada. I Managed the shipyard 5-year BV commercial survey and refit in 2016 keeping the classic yacht in tip top condition.
