Second Officer
Solo Watchkeeper in charge of a Navigational Watch, responsible for passage planning and maintaining logbooks incl. GMDSS and Garbage. Played an active role on deck in maintaining the yacht to high standards. In charge of the planned maintenance system for deck. Carrying out all LSA & FFE and reporting any non-conformities observed. Worked closely with the Chief Officer and Bosun on identifying any defects and routinely tasked with resolving any issues. Gained experience in driving outboard guest tenders.
Second Officer
CurrentSenior Watchkeeper in charge of a Navigational Watch, complying with all the requirements as per the voyage plan complying with all international and national environmental regulations. Acted as Compliance Officer onboard, responsible for planning our cruises from an environmental aspect, ensuring compliance with MARPOL and applicable local/national laws. Maintaining all Official Logbooks and cross checking to ensure all entries are accurate.
Second Officer/Safety Officer (Temporary)
Plan and execute fire drills as well as all other trainings onboard as required by the SMS. Responsible for carrying out all inspections and maintenance of the vessels LSA & FFE as per the planned maintenance system. Prepare, schedule, and carry out the monthly Safety and Management Meetings. Provide all new/rejoining crew & passengers with safety inductions/familiarisations. Assist on deck as required, including launch and recovery of tenders, tender driving and in charge of mooring and anchoring operations.
