About
I am currently located in the UK and seeking a permanent position onboard a yacht that will challenge and develop my understanding of the industry, while contributing positively to a well-run programme. I am seeking a Deckhand role within a close-knit and skilled crew, that I’m sure I can contribute to. Still at the beginning of my maritime career, and having already crossed the Atlantic from Las Palmas, Canaria to Antigua. I am now looking to join a new crew ahead of the Mediterranean summer season.

Experience
Deckhand
Assisted in full Atlantic crossing preparation including bunkering, preparing the sails and provisioning. Developed an understanding for longer passages, watch rotations, and assisted with sailing handling and repairs, navigation and deck operations in offshore conditions.
Dayworker
Aided in their rigging refit, assisting throughout the full process, from initial inspection and stripping of existing varnish to ongoing refurbishment and reapplication of protective finishes.
Dayworker
Gained valuable hands-on experience while preparing for an Atlantic crossing to the Caribbean. Responsibilities included servicing and detailing winches, runners and the tender, painting, polishing and performing full deck washdowns.
